DUBLIN, Ireland - On Tuesday, Pat Allen, 83, and his 82-year-old wife Berna (Bernadette) Allen were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the N28 Cork-Ringaskiddy road. The fatal collision happened just before 11 a.m. as the couple, who lived in nearby Carrigaline's Glenwood, were driving east towards Haulbowline Park, and the driver of a car transporter was moving west towards the Shannon Park roundabout.
