Katy Perry has not ‘heard’ from Taylor Swift about burying feud

The beef continues to stew.

Katy Perry recently proclaimed that her much-buzzed-about feud with Taylor Swift is over — but the "Roar" singer suggested Monday that she still hasn't heard from Swift.

Perry — who will host the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday — made these comments on the SiriusXM program "The Morning Mash Up" when she was asked whether viewers could see her and Swift take the stage together at the award show.

"Listen, I'd love for the beef to end. I'd love to take it off the barbecue," Perry said on the radio show. "I'm down, but I haven't heard anything of it."

Swift and Perry's apparent acrimony has been the source of major fan speculation since 2014, when Swift told Rolling Stone that her song "Bad Blood" is about an unnamed foe who "hired a bunch of people out from under me" during an arena tour.

The 27-year-old Swift still hasn't unveiled the true identity of the song's subject, but TMZ reported shortly after her Rolling Stone interview that three of Perry's former dancers had left Swift's tour and joined Perry's.

The feud drew renewed attention earlier this year when Perry, 32, released a song called "Swish Swish" about an unnamed adversary. Many speculated the track was about Swift, due in part to the proximity between the word's "Swift" and "Swish."

Perry, however, seemed to change her tune about the feud in June when she said during a global podcast that she was "ready to let it go."

“I forgive her (Swift) and I'm sorry for anything I ever did, and I hope the same from her. I love her, and I want the best for her. And I think she's a fantastic songwriter," Perry said at the time.

Swift, who has kept a low profile in general for months, has not publicly reacted to Perry's olive branch offering — or "Swish Swish," for that matter.
