Nationals MP Keith Pitt says power bills are getting less reliable and more unaffordable.

“I think Chris Bowen’s missed the point of being an energy minister,” Mr Pitt told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“Your priority one is no blackouts, priority two is make sure the people can afford to cook a steak and keep the lights on and keep their house warm or cool depending on the weather conditions.

“I don’t know anyone who’s power bill is going down, it’s going up.”
