Sky News host Paul Murray says the “steel in the spine” of the former government and the Opposition is its leader Peter Dutton because he knows the threat China’s government poses to the Western world.

“There are some soft-hearted souls inside the Liberal Party who again – clutching their pearls – are worried that by talking about China the way that the Liberal Party talks about China, they are turning off Chinese voters,” Mr Murray said.

“Well, I am sorry, that’s not a problem from the Liberal Party.

That is a problem with the information that is being fed to those voters because at no time has Peter Dutton, Scott Morrison or anyone else talked about the problem with the people of China – there is none – it is a problem with their government.”
