Sky News contributor Daisy Cousins says singer Demi Lovato is “copping a bit of hate online” after announcing she was reverting back to using female pronouns instead of gender-neutral ones.

“In May last year, for instance, she changed her pronouns to they/them, which was around the time she’d released an album,” Ms Cousens told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

“She’s actually got another album coming out in a couple of weeks and people are saying ‘oh you’ve done the same thing, you’ve changed your pronouns around the time of an album launch.”
