Patrick Blake, 54, a taxi operator of Barrett Oval, Montego Bay, St. James, died from injuries he sustained, when he was struck by a car along the Ironshore main road in Coral Gardens, on Wednesday, July 6. According to Coral Gardens Police, Blake was attempting to cross the roadway at 7:15 p.m. when he was hit by a Toyota motor car. He was rushed to hospital and where he was pronounced dead. The driver of the Toyota motor car, who stopped at the scene has since been warned for prosecution. Investigations are ongoing.
