Sky News host Chris Kenny says climate activists like Mali Cooper are “hysterical merchants of doom” who distort politics.

Mr Kenny said the 22 year old activist had been released yesterday on bail, with conditions being she remain in Lismore, follow a curfew, and report to police three times a week.

“Still, after being bailed Cooper turned up on Channel Ten's The Project,” he said.

“Most of the country is irate at these protesters, the bone ignorance of their claims, and their selfishness in messing with everyone else's day just to indulge their juvenile fantasies, yet The Project shows nothing but concern and gratitude to the disrupters.

“See what I mean about the media being a big part of the problem.”
