The Daily Telegraph’s Tim Blair says he bears “no malice” to the transgender community as FINA risked “woke outrage” by banning transgender athletes from competing against females.

Mr Blair said it looks like global sporting organisations were waiting for someone to “take the first step”.

“We bear no malice or ill-will to members of the trans community,” he told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“We think it’s not fair they have a natural or in-built advantage when it comes to competing with women in certain sports.”
