It has been a long time coming; but it is no better for it. It has already cost thousands and will end up costing £20m; but it is taxpayers’ money wasted. It shows UK data against that of small countries; but Scotland’s data is absent – meaning it cannot be compared. If you have not guessed yet what I am describing it is the 72-page document entitled “Wealthier, Happier, Fairer: Why Not Scotland?” launched by Nicola Sturgeon last week.
