National Dinghy Champs begin in Vessigny

THE National Dinghy Championships began at Vessigny Beach, on Saturday.
According to the TT Yachting Association, “We have approximately 50 youth sailors competing in either optimist, laser radial or C240 and we wish them the best of luck.”
The championships will give athletes the opportunity to earn selection on a national team.

“This event is a national qualifier to select our top sailors to represent TT in regional and international competitions.”
Stefan Stuven was one of the most promising sailors on the opening day of the championships.
The championships will continue on Sunday.
