THE SECOND edition of the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board (TTCB) Dream XI Trinidad T10 Blast will bowl off at Brian Lara Cricket Academy in Tarouba, from noon, on Wednesday.
Two matches will be played daily at Brian Lara Cricket Academy from noon and 2.30 pm until June 24.
The tournament will feature six teams – defending champions Fine Choice Steelpan Strikers, Valini’s Drug Mart Leatherback Giants, Tiger Tanks Cocrico Cavaliers, Fides Limited Scarlet Ibis Scorchers, Jagerssar Group Soca Kings and Scorpion/Titans Blue Devils.
On the opening day, Soca Kings will play Leatherback Giants at noon and Cocrico Cavaliers will battle Blue Devils at 2.30 pm.
Six TT Red Force players will captain the teams including Jason Mohammed (Soca Kings), Rayad Emrit (Blue Devils), Imran Khan (Steelpan Strikers), Terrance Hinds (Leatherback Giants), Denesh Ramdin (Cocrico Cavaliers) and Tion Webster (Scarlet Ibis Scorchers).
The winner will receive $100,000 and the runners up get $50,000.
