UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has addressed parliament following the release of the Sue Gray report into parties at Downing Street which occurred during COVID-19 lockdown periods.

The report detailed failures of leadership and judgement, parties lasting past midnight, excessive drinking and a lack of respect for cleaning and security staff.

Mr Johnson said he would take “full responsibility for everything that took place” on his watch but has resisted calls to resign.
