Sky News host Paul Murray says Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is a “pushover” when it comes to the state premiers.

It comes as Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews said in a press conference he will be “campaigning and fighting” if the state “needs more and needs to do better”.

“Anyone want to take a bet that I’m pretty sure Daniel Andrews won’t be taking out ads at the MCG against an Albo government,” Mr Murray said.

“I’m pretty sure he won’t be describing the Prime Minister as 'miserable' despite the fact he gave the former Prime Minister billions of dollars to the businesses of Victoria to keep them alive … what garbage.”
