Labor attempting to ‘sneak’ into office

almost 2 years in news

Emergency Management Minister Bridget McKenzie says the Labor Party’s attempt to “sneak into office” this Saturday is “appalling”.

Ms McKenzie referred to Labor’s plans to release a second budget later this year and bring business, employer groups and trade unions to an employment summit.

“It’s an indictment on their lack of intellectual capability to have the tough policy conversations to make the case, do the hard work that requires to have a proposition to put to the Australian people,” Ms McKenzie told Sky News host Chris Kenny.

“To say, ‘vote for me, and I’m going to tell you what we’re going to do later’, is just the height of irresponsibility.”
