Netflix sends ‘stunning and stinging memo’ to staffers who disapprove of content

Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan says Netflix has told staffers who disapprove of the content being made to leave in a “stunning and stinging memo”.

“In all culture wars there is a tipping point, a moment when those timidly bowing the howling mob wake up, smell the latte, and grow a pair – that moment appears to have just arrived for Netflix,” he said.

“Boring, virtue signalling programming has seen it cede key territory to belligerents like Disney, Apple, and Amazon.”

Mr Morgan said the company suffered after it decided to “wave the white flag to woke warrior staff” which led to protests against Netflix announcing new specials for comedian Dave Chappelle – who has made jokes about transgender people.

“Chappelle is not a bigot, he’s a comedy genius who likes to poke fun and anyone and everyone, which should frankly be the hallmark of any good fearless comedian but the in-house Netflix wokies decided he should be cancelled in furious protest,” he said.

“Fortunately, Netflix has done what I’ve been urging them to do for weeks and told these intolerant, wet cancel culture vultures to develop a backbone or leave.”
