Conway returns but Beirne still out in mixed Munster injury news

Andrew Conway will return to Munster training ahead of this weekend’s Champions Cup quarter-final against Toulouse but John Hodnett and Tadhg Beirne are among those that look set to miss out with injury.
Ireland wing Conway returns from a knee issue and a final decision will be made on his availability later this week. Hodnett, also struggling with a knee injury, has consulted a specialist and will undergo a period of rehabilitation.
Chris Cloete (head) Jack O’Sullivan (knee), Gavin Coombes (ankle), and Tadhg Beirne (thigh), are all said to be continuing their rehab, meaning they are all but certain to miss out. Dave Kilcoyne (neck) and RG Snyman (knee) are out of contention having already been ruled out for the remainder of the season.
Munster take on last year’s European champions at the Aviva Stadium on Saturday afternoon (kick-off 3pm) having worked past Exeter Chiefs in the last-16. It is a home game for Munster but it could not be played at Thomond Park due to an Ed Sheeran concert close to the day of the game.
31,000 tickets have been sold so far.
