Boxing champion Tyson Fury has weighed in on cancel culture in modern society, declaring the world has "gone mad".

The world heavyweight champion spoke to Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan about the issue.

"There’s only a freedom of speech until it upsets somebody and then it doesn’t exist anymore," Mr Fury said.

"We’re now in 2022 and everything you say gets taken personal and everyone wants to cancel you out – you know for everything you say.

"I don’t know what’s going on in the world, everybody’s upset for something.

"And no matter what you say you can’t please everybody."
