Sky News host Peta Credlin says the Liberal Party's new ad is "potent" because it "exposes the Labor lie" that temporary protection visas are not part of Operation Sovereign Borders.

This comes after Shadow Home Affairs Kristina Keneally told Sky News Australia Labor intends to end TPVs as it is a "costly, unnecessary bureaucratic process for no good outcome".

Ms Credlin said graphs in the ad show "yet again how wrong Keneally is, how wrong Albanese is, how wrong Labor is and they haven't learnt the lessons from before".
