Netflix cancels Will Smith film following Oscars slap

Netflix has cancelled a sequel to Will Smith's blockbuster film 'Bright' while another project of the actor's has been delayed following his assault of Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Smith was banned from the Oscars for 10 years after he stormed the stage of this year’s event to slap comedian Chris Rock in the face before launching an expletive-laden rant.

Bloomberg reporter Lucas Shaw said Netflix dropped 'Bright 2' and also revealed Smith's National Geographic series 'Pole to Pole' has been delayed for several months.
