Sir, – Dandelions are everywhere, gladdening our footpaths, verges and open spaces and delighting the bees. It’s surely time to reframe our image of dandelions. Let’s rebrand them as wild flowers rather than weeds. I am reminded of the verse written by that most prolific of poets, Anon. “Today I saw a dandelion/As golden as the sun/And these will still be beautiful/When all the wars are done.” – Yours, etc,
