Thunder and lightning rattled the sky above Florida and Alabama overnight on Wednesday into Thursday, March 31, as thunderstorms swept the region. This footage, filmed and posted to Facebook by Brent Shavnore, shows scenes in Pace, Florida – a suburb of Pensacola – after midnight on Wednesday. According to Shavnore, the storm was one of the ‘most intense lightning displays’ he had ever seen. Other Florida residents posted images of fallen branches following the storm.
