Anti Abortion Politician Admits His Wife Had Abortion
over 3 years in news
North Carolina Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, known for his strong condemnation of abortion, admitted on March 24 that his wife had an abortion. In a video posted on his Facebook page, Robinson sat beside his wife, Yolanda, and admitted that in 1989 he paid for her to have an abortion. “It was the hardest decision we have ever made, and, sadly, we made the wrong one,” the lieutenant governor said. “This decision has been with us ever since. It’s because of this experience and our spiritual journey that we are so adamantly pro-life.” Robinson previously called abortion “murder of the most innocent human beings on earth” at a rally in 2021. The controversy emerged after the uncovering of a Facebook post Robinson made in 2012 that said: “Abortion is wrong. It’s wrong when others do it and it was wrong when I (YES I) paid to have MY own child aborted in 1989.” Credit: Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson via Storyful
