The financial controller embroiled in Zali Steggall’s donation disclosure scandal similarly failed to disclose a payment from Malcolm Turnbull’s son to a prominent Liberal MP, according to Sky News host Peta Credlin.

Alex Turnbull made a $25,000 donation to Liberal turned independent MP Julia Banks, which wasn’t disclosed for almost two years after it was made.

“Earning the financial controller in question, Damien Hodgkinson, a formal rebuke from the Australian Electoral Commission,” Ms Credlin said.

“Hodgkinson is also the financial controller for fellow green left independents Allegra Spender and Monique Ryan.”
