Kinslor Prince Lawyers’ David Prince says the Novak Djokovic visa saga “sheds light” on the “great complexity” of Australia’s visa immigration system.

It comes after Mr Djokovic’s visa was cancelled for the second time by Immigration Minister Alex Hawke, who exercised his controversial ministerial powers.

“It also highlights the significant ministerial discretions and the fact that a decision could be made, and the minister could...step in and come to a different view,” Mr Prince told Sky News host Caleb Bond.

“I think that will be perhaps an eye-opener for the public and that I think is significant.”
