SWAT officers responded to a reported incident in Jacksonville, Florida, on Thursday, January 6, blocking off traffic near a strip mall. This footage, recorded by Mike McDaniel, shows a heavy police presence along Southside Boulevard in Jacksonville. An armored SWAT vehicle can be seen moving across the road. McDaniel says in the video that it looks like a “war zone.” According to local press reports, the law enforcement response was due to a potential hostage situation in the area.
