The Australian’s Media Writer Sophie Elsworth says Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes has gone from the “top of her game to the absolute rock bottom”.
It comes after Ms Holmes was convicted of fraud.
A California jury found she conspired to defraud investors in her blood-testing company, Theranos.
“Elizabeth Holmes was put on this pedestal, she was a hero in Silicon Valley, made an absolute fortune over there, she was the female version of Steve Jobs and now it’s turned out to be an absolute fraud,” Ms Elsworth told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“This is a huge case in Silicon Valley, often they’re not held to task over there, and this is a massive fall from grace and will impact so many people.”
