A police officer who has been charged with a slew of criminal offences stemming from an altercation in which he reportedly handcuffed his girlfriend and abused her physically and sexually was denied bail last week in court. The accused, Ryan Anderson, a Portland Police Division officer, appeared before St Mary Parish Court.
