Meghan Markle’s legal victory over a British media outlet is a “terrible blow” for press freedom, according to Spiked’s Brendan O’Neill.
“We can’t have wealthy, royal people bossing around the papers and telling them what they can and cannot publish,” Mr O’Neill told Sky News host Chris Smith.
“In my view, a very influential person’s right to privacy should play second fiddle to the press’s right to tell the story, and tell the truth as it sees fit.”
