Scott Morrison wants to ‘divide’ rather than ‘unite’ Australians

over 2 years in news

Prime Minister Scott Morrison is always looking to “divide rather than unite,” according to Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese.

“This is a bloke who is very hard to agree with because he doesn’t want people to agree with him, he wants division,” he said.

Mr Albanese denied Mr Morrison’s accusations the Labor Party was siding with the Chinese government, after former Labor Prime Minister Paul Keating gave a controversial address to the National Press Club.

“When it comes to national security issues, there should be one interest – which is the national interest,” Mr Albanese said.
