‘Weakness and appeasement’ Paul Keating slammed for ‘damaging’ rhetoric on Taiwan

It is weakness and appeasement that encourages an invasion of Taiwan – and that is what Paul Keating did at his National Press Club address, says Sky News host James Morrow.
It comes as the former prime minister played down China’s growing threat to Taiwan and western allies during an address to the National Press Club on Wednesday – adding that Beijing was “not about turning over” the existing world system but only wanted to “reform it”.
"It's extraordinarily damaging – no one should pay attention to him,"Mr Morrow said.
