THE battle over the future of Julian Assange has taken a new turn with the release of a documentary which aims to show the Wikileaks founder in a different light by looking at his family. “The audience only knows Julian through media headlines,” his brother Gabriel Shipton, the film’s creator, says. “The film is about [his] family, it’s a story which has never been told before.” Ithaka features Assange’s father John heavily.
