A man led gardai on a high-speed car chase, travelling at 180 km per hour at one point, the recent sitting of Portlaoise District Court heard. Patrick Doyle (24), 19 Gort an Oir, Fethard, Co Tipperary was charged with dangerous driving at Cappakeel, Emo, Portlaoise on September 18 last. Sgt JJ Kirby
