‘All the signs’ show Morrison and Joyce achieving net zero deal

“All the signs” point to Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce reaching an agreement on a net zero target, says The Australian’s Editor-at-Large Paul Kelly.

“I would anticipate that agreement would have majority support in the National Party,” Mr Kelly told Sky News Australia.

“I would imagine it contains very significant concessions for regional Australia, that’s what Barnaby Joyce would demand.”

Mr Kelly noted there would be “some dissidents” within the National Party.
