AstraZeneca still unavailable for under 40s at NSW government vaccination hubs

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian is refusing to offer AstraZeneca jabs to under 40s at NSW government vaccination hubs, instead leaving the responsibility and risk associated for young Australians with the federal government and the GP rollout.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison accused the premier and her team of ignoring a viable option adopted by Victoria.

“I would like to see more AstraZeneca vaccines being distributed through the state-based clinics like Victoria has been able to achieve,” Mr Morrison said.

“My message to Australians today is – take the vaccines that are available to you now.”
