Leadership at state level have ‘exploited the idea the state comes first and the country second’

Sky News host Paul Murray says he is "a little sceptical of some of the leadership" at the state level and how "they have exploited the idea" that state comes first and the country comes second.
Mr Murray said "lockdowns are everywhere" and "are the pain that you must take so they can keep you safe - or so they keep saying".
He said the "reality is that it is the human element of the state government response that has resulted in an awful lot of the lockdowns of the past year".
