Sir, – I, like many others, am very happy to hear of Dublin City Council’s plan to provide extra bins and portable toilets for the bank holiday weekend. I, like many others, hope that next time it takes a bit less than massive public outrage for the council to acquiesce and provide these basic services. – Yours, etc,
