Zali Steggall brings ‘bizarre medieval superstitions’ to politics Latham

about 3 years in news

NSW One Nation Leader Mark Latham says Zali Steggall's "medieval superstition" of leaves falling from a tree in parliament house meaning the "end of civilization" through climate change is bizarre.

"For Zali Steggall and others it's really just sort of showing that climate change is becoming the equivalent of a medieval superstition," he told Sky News host Andrew Bolt.

"The tree in Canberra dropped a few leaves and Zali is saying it's going to be the end of civilization through climate change. Seriously?

"This sort of medieval approach to politics - it's just quite bizarre."
