U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced a sweeping probe into police in Louisville, on Monday, 13 months after the death of Breonna Taylor, who was shot to death by police during a raid at her home. The Biden administration is also investigating police tactics in Minneapolis, Minnesota, following the death of George Floyd in May 2020.
