What happened to George Floyd was “abhorrent” and a jury has found that it constituted murder, but the glorification of him by Democrats and the media is “a little bit off,” according to Sky News host Rita Panahi.

Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of all three charges against him over the death of George Floyd last year; the former police officer will be sentenced in eight weeks.

“Even the 'guilty on all charges' verdict wasn’t enough for AOC,” Ms Panahi said.

“And the guilty verdict hasn’t been enough for BLM protestors who were getting ready to riot.

“The glorification of this man (George Floyd) by the Democrats is a little sick, after all this was a man who had committed terrible crimes.

“To paint him as some saint to be worshiped shows just how intellectually and morally vacuous the left have become.”
