China is ‘coming after’ Australia’s hay industry
about 3 years in news
Sky News host Paul Murray says Australia’s hay export industry is the latest target of China taking “revenge” against Australia’s economy as a result of the two countries' diplomatic tensions surrounding the coronavirus.
“Australia’s hay export industry to China has effectively been crippled as we speak,” he said.
“There are 28 separate companies that can export Australian hay to China – 25 of those companies have had their import permits evaporate in China.
“So the hay industry is the latest one that they’re coming after.”
