HELEN Bhagwansingh, co-founder of Bhagwansingh's group of companies, together with its management and staff, have dispatched a container loaded with essential items to St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The container, carrying water, food items and medical supplies, left Trinidad on Tuesday and is expected to arrive in St Vincent on Friday at 6 am.
The company issued a media release, saying, "Our hearts and prayers are with the people of SVG at this time as they face a national crisis with the ongoing eruptions of the La Soufriere volcano.
"To our brothers and sisters in SVG, we know that you all are a strong, resilient and patriotic people. We stand ready to assist in the coming days ahead as you rebuild your country. Together we are one people, united in Caribbean unity."
