Palaszczuk invites NZ PM to enjoy quarantine free holiday in Queensland

about 3 years in news

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has invited New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to come to Queensland for a holiday following the opening of a trans-Tasman travel bubble between the two nations.

“I know she does like holidaying here,” she told the press on Wednesday.

International travel will return in less than two weeks with Australians able to fly to New Zealand quarantine-free from April 19.

However, New Zealand has reserved the right to continue, pause or suspend flights from an Australian state or territory if there is a coronavirus outbreak of concern.
