America will give Biden a ‘pass’ because he ‘showed up’ at first press conference

Former White House staff member Barbara Heineback says America will give President Joe Biden a “pass” following his first press conference because he “showed up”.
President Biden has been the subject of criticism from across the political spectrum over a lack of transparency when it comes to the press given he went 64 days without holding a news conference.
“He was fumbling through his notes today and was really fairly uncomfortable,” Ms Heineback told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.
“He did stand up for 62 minutes, and I guess the country will give him a pass because he showed up, but that’s about all we can say.”
