Australian rare earth mining and refining company Lynas has applied for a licence to build a permanent dump for its toxic waste in a pristine rainforest in Malaysia after piling up a mountain of toxic, and partly radioactive, waste near its controversial refinery near the city of Kuantan. Peter Boyle spoke to Lee Tan, a veteran environmental researcher and campaigner with AidWatch.
