The longest grand slam tournament in tennis history is finally at an end. The Australian Open, which truly began over five weeks ago when the first players strode onto their airplanes to Australia before their quarantine period, ended on Sunday with the familiar sight of Naomi Osaka and Novak Djokovic on top of the world.
On Monday Djokovic gave further details about what it took to win his 18th grand slam title. After previously confirming a tear in his right oblique abdominal muscle, he said that his post-tournament MRI indicated the tear grew from 17mm to 25mm. Continue reading...
