THERE were 21 new covid19 cases, including an additional positive case from Tobago, the Ministry of Health's 4 pm update reported on Sunday. In the release, the 21 additional cases brought the total number of covid19 cases to 7,265.
These positive cases reflects the samples taken from Thursday to Saturday. The update also reported that there have been no additional deaths due to the virus with the total number of covid19 related deaths remaining at 128. The last reported death was on Saturday.
The release reported that as of Sunday afternoon there were 6,857 recovered patients representing an additional 13 recovered cases from Saturday when the last update was issued.
The Ministry of Health is advising the public to practice regular hygiene and observe the Public Health Regulations to avoid spreading the virus.
