DEAN at the Faculty of Law in the University of the West Indies (UWI) Prof Rose-Marie Belle Antoine is in a stable condition at St Clair Medical Facility after she was involved in an accident in Port of Spain.
Newsday understands she was driving along Wrightson Road on Thursday night, when a truck collided with the back of her vehicle.
She was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital then transferred to St Clair medical where she remains in a stable condition.
Former St Lucia prime minister Dr Kenny Anthony, her husband, in a Facebook post assured that she was not “fighting for her life” and requested that the public grant her privacy at this time.
