1 dead, 4 hurt in Xmas Eve crash

ONE woman is dead and four men injured after a vehicular accident in Cunupia on Thursday.
Police said when they arrived at the scene in Munroe Road, Cunupia at 10.11 pm, they saw a black Ford Ranger on the northbound lane. The vehicle was inside a drain.
They also saw a silver Nissan B14 on the southbound lane with extensive damage to its front and a “motionless” woman of East Indian descent pinned under the steering wheel.
She was later identified as Asha Mohammed, 38, of Cunupia who was pronounced dead at the scene by the district medical officer.
The driver of the Ford – Richard Henry– and passengers Keron Pesnell, Stephon Pedro, Peter Charles and Brandon Francis all suffered injuries and are currently warded at hospital.
Investigations are ongoing.
