Police destroy suspicious device found in James Bay

Victoria police have destroyed a suspicious device found in James Bay.
Police were called to Holland Point Park at Dallas Road and Menzies Street around noon Friday after a witness found a pipe in the grass with what appeared to be a fuse sticking out of it.
Officers decided the device was suspicious and contained the area.
Members of the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team destroyed the device and police said the incident is resolved.
