Molino exits Minnesota United
over 4 years in TT News day
KEVIN Molino has announced he will be moving on from Major League Soccer (MLS) club Minnesota United.
The attacking midfielder made the revelation via his Instagram page on Wednesday morning.
Molino spent the last four seasons at the club. He was also instrumental in leading Minnestoa United to its first ever Audi MLS Cup Playoffs Western Conference final in the preceding season.
He posted, “To everyone at Minnesota United... the owners, management, coaches, back room staff, office staff, the ball boys, the fans and most of all my team-mates... from my heart to yours Thank You for embracing me and showing me all the love and support for the last four years of my life.
“It's been a journey filled with so much emotion and experiences. You showed me how to comeback after being sidelined with injury and how to love the game again. I want to wish this great club all the best.
“Onto another chapter now.”
This year, Molino scored 13 goals and created four assists in 20 games. Minnesota, however, were ousted from the western conference final after giving away a two-goal advantage against the Seattle Sounders.
Molino joined Minnesota United in 2017 and has 14 goals and nine assists overall in 37 games. He is expected to return to TT before the Christmas holiday.
